Here we go again. Time to kick off another month's to do list. Yes folks, time for a few more ideas and suggestions of things to do from yours truly and as always these are merely suggestions and information. Do what you can with them. I'd also like to note that there are a ton of fests this month and all summer so if I miss a couple there was no slight intended. Ok, let's get to work.

Now you may be thinking that it would be very easy to do frozen yogurt or strawberry as the flavor of the month, and it would be. But that's just not how we roll now is it? Of course not. We just did straws and fruit flavors recently so this might require a little thought. You know, it's getting to be that time of year again. A little bit warmer outside, the sounds of summer fill the air. A lawn mower over here or a sprinkler running over there. Some summer songs drifting about mixed in with the sound of kids playing and that familiar tune from the ice cream truck. Ah yes, frozen treats delivered right to you (or at least kinda close to you) All those tasty items some on sticks some sans sticks for you to enjoy and to help cool you down on a hot summer day. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!?!?!? You know, I've always kinda had this thing about stuff on sticks. Pickle on a stick, meatball on a stick, corndog on a stick, (wonder if you could put a breadstick on a stick?) popsicles, push ups, ice cream bars ... but the non stick stuff is good as well. Who doesnt like an ice cream sammi? Tel ya what. Let's make sure we tip or hat to the treats of summer to kick off the summer itself. But we need more than that. We need a specific item. Something that makes sense (or not) There is just so much to choose from and it's making my taste buds almost jump right off my tongue thinking about it. Just wanna give something tasty a good licking. Really wanna let my tongue do what it does best. Wait a minute, that's it. Let's give it a lick with our licker. All those tasty treats do have one thing in common, at some point in time while enjoying them you will be giving them a lick. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... June is the month we use or tongues to let our taste buds take a tasty trip through the first month of summer. If you can lick it, it's in! As always all chips chunks dips dunks... You know the rest are in as well.

FREE ADMISSION FOR DADS JUNE 21st AT THE ZOO! Gotta like the Zoo showing the dads a little love.


Supposedly the Beach Waterpark is offering Dads free admission on Father Day as well (just havent had a chance to check yet but you can at 398-7946)

And I havent checked this one yet either but the national Underground Railroad Freedom Center usually does free admission on Fathers day as well (check for yourself at 333-7500)
